Description: An extremely valuable antique plate from the late 19th century! This one of a kind rarity was created by the French pottery maker Sarreguemines and illustrates a scene from Wagner's opera Parsifal. Wagner was one of the most beloved music composers in Germany and the creator of many famous operas. Parsifal was Wagner's final composition. Parisfal was considered The music of redemption. There is partial musical score across the plate. The mark on the plate indicates that it was created between the years 1875 and 1900. Despite being over 100 years old, this is in excellent condition and just shows expected crazing. The plate is made out of glazed porcelain.
