Out of all of the many coronation related souvenirs we've had, this is by far the best. I found another on line for $575.00. This one has condition issues, as noted above. It shows its' age. I'd rather it was closer to 'like new', but the aged look is also somewhat appropriate for this wonderful relic.A number of these are actually in museums. "Printed cotton flag featuring a screen printed black and white circular photograph of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Princess Anne in the centre within a decorative border and surmounted by a red lion in passant guardant pose. To the left of centre is a picture of Windsor Castle and to the right of centre, a picture of Buckingham Palace. Below the photograph is a gold banner with blue text 'GOD BLESS OUR ROYAL FAMILY'. The design is imposed on the Union Jack flag in the background. The flag has a small hem along the upper and lower edges. The left and right edges are selvedge. Associated with the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, which took place on 2 June 1953 at Westminster Abbey, London. Elizabeth II acceded to the throne at the age of 25 upon the death of her father, George VI, on 6 February 1952. Celebrations took place across the Commonwealth. At Port Macquarie coronation celebrations included church services, sports day, street processions, coloured street lighting and fireworks.
