Description: Pre WW2 USS James K. Paulding DD-238 Leather w/ Silk Adornment Photo Album. The leather/silk-accented photo album measures 11.25" x 8.25". The album cover is clean, although there is typical, nearly 100-year age wear to the edges (the Paulding served the Fleet from 1920-1931). Unfortunately, the album was purged of whatever photos there might have been...only 1 unremarkable sea shot of a distant vessel remains (see pic #11). The pages are either clean exhibiting no photo mounting, or they show evidence of photos that have been removed (see pics #8-10). The Memory and Log pages are all blank. The disappointment of only 1 photo notwithstanding, this is still an attractive and rare US Naval keepsake that will display wonderfully.
