The pages are beginning to get brittle, but they are all readable. The binding is intact in Volume 3 with no pages coming out. In Volume 1, a few pages (like 5) are starting to pull away from the binding, but none are missing or have totally pulled loose. It is a rare book and looks old. It will be a great addition to your antiquarian collection. I don't see this edition available elsewhere on ebay, except for Volume 2, which you could acquire to complete this edition :-) Old Books!
