This amp was made in the good ole' USA and built American tough!The sticker has come off, but it appears that this amp comes equipped with 1 of the clear, loud and legendary Scorpion Speakers !This amp is a favorite among blues guitarists for its nice, bass-y but clear sound. The clean (or "normal gain") channel also has a "bright switch" so country pickers can enjoy this amp as well ! Also perfect if you have a darker sounding guitar and want to give it more high end shine! This amp sounds great and takes overdrive or distortion pedals very well...she sounds awesome with my Arcade Audio Game Overdrive pedal or with a multi-effects pedal like my Line 6 Pod HD 500x....both for sale here on ebay!With its lead gain channel it also can do classic rock with the gain set lower. Turn up the saturation (supersat) knob and you can get to hard rock and even some older heavy metal (like 70's and maybe some 80's) with the help of this amp channel's very responsive 4 band parametric eq consisting of low, mid, high (also with "pull bright" switch) and prescence. And man, with some simple tweaking of said equalization, it can really nail that 70's and 80's Marshall amp overdrive sound ... it's almost uncanny, especially if you close your eyes ... just listen, and PLAY!!!!This amp also has an actual Reverb tank and that function works on this particular unit! (That is not always a guarantee with these older amps.) The effect sounds great, too !!!!!You can buy this amp and get a fully functional, all you need rig !
