Description: This is a rare March 14th, 1938 playbill from ORSON WELLES' Mercury Theatre Production of the William Shakespeare classic "JULIUS CAESAR" which was performed in repertory with the THOMAS DEKKER play "THE SHOEMAKERS' HOLIDAY" at the National Theatre in New York City. ("Julius Caesar" opened November 11th, 1937 at New York's Mercury Theatre, moved to the National Theatre on January 31st, 1938 and ran for 157 performances. "The Shoemakers' Holiday" opened January 1st, 1938 and ran for 69 performances.) .....
