There's a 4-column index to chief cities, with populations, in the lower margin. Among the named places and features are the Slave Coast, German East Africa, Congo Free State, Timbuktu, Senegal, Victoria Falls, Zambezi River, Morocco, British South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Cape Colony, Egypt, Loanda, Loango, Gold Coast, Abyssinia, Sahara Desert, Dahomey, Tripoli, Madagascar, and many more. The map was published by George Franklin Cram in Cram's Unrivaled Atlas of the World, Chicago, 1900.
