Description: You are buying a TBMS-25 mounting kit. For mounting an Optima Battery model: 35, 25, 75/25, D35 or D75/25 into a: 74-89 Porsche 911, 911S, 911Carrera 3.0, 911SC, 911 Carrera 3.2, 911 turbo, 930 or 930S. This mounting kit from Thoroughbred Motorsports LLC is well thought out and was specifically designed for these Optima and Porsche applications. As these batteries do not have their bottom flanges pre-drilled for mounting, the tray is designed to also be used as a drilling template to be able to prepare the batteries for being mounted onto the tray. Note: This kit will NOT work for Optima batteries 34R, 34, 34/78, D34 or D34/78, as the stud spacing and locations are different. Please use our installation kit TBMS-34 for those batteries, also available in another listing in our eBay store. What you get is a mounting plate, four triangular support plates, four stainless steel lock washers, four stainless steel nuts, a drill bit, two temporary mounting screws/bolts and washers, and detailed installation instructions. We are also including the mounting bracket that holds down the tray in stainless steel. All of these batteries can be fitted into your Porsche using the TBMS-25 mounting kit: · The Optima 35 (red top) is the lightest and closest to the factory design with the poles closer to the outside of the car. (31.7# - 44amp-hr). A slightly longer ground cable may be required depending on the year and version of your car. · The Optima 25 (red top) is the same as the 35, except the poles will be closer to the gas tank (on the inside rather than the outside). An extra-long ground cable will be required. (31.7# - 44amp-hr) · The Optima 75/25 (red top) is the same design as the 25, but additionally to the top terminals has GM style side terminals. It will fit and the side terminals will be clear on the gas-tank side and these batteries are more commonly available. An extra-long ground cable will be required. (33.1# - 44amp-hr) · The Optima D35 (yellow top) is the same design as the 25, except it is a deep cycle battery for guys with big stereos who like to run their stereo also when the car is not running. An extra-long ground cable will be required. (36.4# - 48amp-hr) · The Optima D75/25 (yellow top) is the same design as the 75/25 with top and GM style side terminals, but it is a deep cycle battery for guys with big stereos who like to run their stereo also when the car is not running. It will fit and the side terminals will be clear on the gas-tank side and these batteries are more commonly available. An extra-long ground cable will be required. (37.8# - 48amp-hr). The more luxury oriented enthusiasts with fully loaded cars with all power options may chose the heavier Optima Batteries with the higher cold cranking amps and higher amp-hour capacities. All of these batteries can be fitted into your Porsche using the TBMS-34 mounting kit: · The Optima 34R (red top) is the closest to the heavier factory design with the poles closer to the outside of the car.
