Description: If you collect horse racing memorabilia, I have a GREAT piece of racing history for you. FUNNY CIDE won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness in 2003. He was a "blue collar" horse, owned by friends, not by some rich syndicate. He was retired at 7 years old, and did well racing for years. I have HIS HALTER for sale. I bought it online and am now offering it for sale here on eBay. There is a small tag that was attached to his halter. My camera won't pick up what it says; it says: "FROM GROOM ZACH QUINTANA" $895.00 There's the provenance. It's a leather halter with "FUNNY CIDE" on the brass nameplate. I couldn't get it to show in the picture but some idjit has tried to scratch off the horses's name from the name plate. Some of the scratches might come off with a good brass cleaner. The halter is in very good/excellent condition. I haven't cleaned it, just took pictures. FREE shipping also. I appreciate your interest!
