Description: As you are probably aware, OEM part 897558 is no longer available from Porter Cable. These are not OEM rings, but they fit just fine. I used them on my sander and as have many other satisfied buyers. Material is 70 durometer Nitrile (nbr buna). Type 1 sanders need one, Type 2 need two rings to connect the dust collector canister to the sander. You can see the fit in the photos, it's nice and snug. Just to be clear, the adapter and canister in the photo are for demonstration only, the sale is just for the o-ring.
