The sticker on the back of the watch says to change the battery in September 2018. I don’t think this was done since this watch has been in a box since it was purchased. I cannot guarantee that the battery isn’t corroded. I have not removed the back. The watch does not currently work, because the battery does not work. Hopefully all it needs is a new battery.
