Description: This custom made piezo igniter is by far the best way to achieve ignition in the chamber of your spud launcher. It is entirely self-contained, so no wires, screws, or other apparatus are required. Simply drill a hole through the chamber wall, insert the igniter, and secure in place with the included nut. The silicone O-ring seals against blow-by and does not deteriorate with ozone or UV exposure like standard black Buna-N ones do. Push the red plunger down and send your spud flying! Rated for 30,000 cycles, these high quality igniters are designed to last. Initial output voltage is >20KV, and exceeds 15KV after 30,000 cycles. Drill your mounting hole with a standard twist drill or spade bit. Any of the following hole sizes are acceptable: 11/16" (0.688") 17.5mm (0.689") 45/64" (0.703") 18mm (0.709") You can mount the igniter anywhere in your chamber. We like mounting it in the reducer coupling as shown in the pictures, which makes it feel similar to a trigger. We recommend drilling and installing the igniter in your preferred component before gluing it to other components; this will make it easier to get the nut tightened securely.
