Description: This is the first generation motor that is known as the PMSM Purex model. You will find it on Intelliflo pumps manufactured up until 2017. You can the difference by looking at the plug at the top of the motor. The first generation motors will have the same five position plug but only three silver electrical contacts in it as opposed to all five spots being filled on the second generation motors manufactured late 2017 forward. This is a rebuilt motor. The only things that go bad in these motors are the two bearings and the awful factory paint job that begins to peel in one year. The bearings are replaced and the case is stripped to bare metal and acid washed before applying a corrosion resistant coating and you have what I feel is a superior motor in the end.
