Moore Maloney.Alexander Cameron Urquhart was born 9 October 1866 in Scotland, son of Roderick Urquhart (1820 - ) and Margaret Murray (1823 - ). In July of 1896, in Colorado, Alex married Rachel Nettie Moore Narey, born 16 October 1868 in Pleasant Hill, Cass Co., Missouri, daughter of Harvey Moore (1838 - 1906) and Katherine Elizabeth O'Connell (1845 - 1930). Alex died 24 December 1928 and was laid to rest in Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Nettie joined him at age 93 on 12 May 1963. Children of Nettie and her first husband, William H. Narey (1857 - aft 1920): William Harvey Narey (1886 - 1969), John Lawrence Narey (1889 - 1967), Albert Theodore Narey (1891 - 1975), Katherine E. Narey Menge (1892 - 1970).Children of Alex and Nettie include: Murdoch Cameron Urquhart (1897 - 1951), Donald Urquhart (1899 - 1980), Margaret Urquhart Bennie Applegate (1901 - 1979), Mildred Urquhart Dodge Collins (1905 - 1963), Nettie Mae Patricia Urquhart Fox (1907 - 1973)Alex and Nettie's photo measures 4.25 x 6.5 inches and came from the Bellsmith photography studio in Denver, Colorado. Card is in very good condition for its age, but as to be expected with a photo over 120 years old, it isn't perfect. There are scuffs and spots. Please see photo scans for inspection.
