Description: MONO Their Satanic Majesties Request 1st U.S. pressing ROLLING STONES BESTWAY Pressing denoted by "BW" on labels and etched in wax. True MONO mix with bell at beginning of "The Lantern" tolling 3 times, not a Stereo fold-down. Test-played all the way through to determine condition. VINYL in G with a warp that causes skip every rotation on 1st song on each side. The warp may be able to be repaired? The rest of the record is STRONG VG, almost VG+, really nice audio. Label on "Front Side" has damage from former water damage. COVER in G with split seams on 6" on front gatefold top seam, full split on second gatefold bottom seam, 3" on top seam, corner bumps, ringer, lenticular cover image has scratching and glue residue (see photos). INNER SLEEVE red psychedelic inner in G+, has splitting on 7" on one side, middle split on one side, 4" mid-split on last side. Yellowing/staining, tears at opening ( see photos). Notes: This version is uniquely identified by the matrix number on the labels with a "-BW" suffix on the second-to-last line of the label text: Bestway Products pressing. Maroon labels with silver print (not bright red). Side indicators are "front side" and "back side", printed to the right of the spindle hole. This is the dedicated mono mix - not the stereo-to-mono fold down version. The bell at the beginning of "The Lantern" tolls three times, which signifies a true original mono mix. Versions with two tolls instead of three signifies a stereo-to-mono fold down mix. Promotional copies for this pressing have a round white "Promotional copy not for sale" sticker on the sleeve.
