Description: Miniature Brass Buddha Figurine. This is a very small but solid brass, Buddha. Heavy for its size. Measuring approximately 1" wide x 1" deep x 1" tall. Flat bottom and incised "China." Between the hands, in the middle of the lap, it has a hole like a bead. I don't know what it purpose is. I suppose you could put a cord through the hole and wear it as a necklace so that you don't lose it in travel. With its size and shape, I would not consider it to have been made as a pendant. I think it may have been used as a weight? It weighs 77 grams or 2.72 ounces. It is a figurine that would be perfect to accompany you during meditation or as a small knick knack for decor. Condition is very good. It is pre-owned and vintage, so it does have some wear and patina. I would consider that character a bonus feature.
