Fruitcake contains 90% fruits and pecans with just enough egg batter to hold it all together. After slowing baking, it is gently aged in Port wine until moist. Fruitcake contains NO citron, raisins, citrus peel or heavy, overwhelming spices, like most fruitcakes. Ingredients are: Plump Georgia pecan halves, candied cherries, candied pineapple, dates, eggs, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, with Port wine added after baking. The old-fashioned goodness of the finest ingredients makes each cake a moist and delicious delight. I will gladly ship cake as a gift with enclosed message. This description is for a 1 pound loaf.
