Description: The United States Mint minted Eisenhower dollars from 1971 to 1978. They have 40% silver and produced by the San Francisco Mint and sold individually to collectors from 1971 to 1974. Frank Gasparro designed the coin to honor President Dwight D. Eisenhower and the first human landing on the moon in 1969. The obverse features the late president facing right. The reverse is an adaptation of the official Apollo 11 mission insignia. It comes in the original durable plastic holder. Condition: Plastic holders show signs of wear & tear.
