Description: 2002 Longaberger All American Casserole Basket Super Set Longaberger's indigo blue American Eagle Covered Casserole is striking and made even more so in its patriotic Casserole Basket. Royal blue and red create an innovative plaid weave that shows some fading on red weaves on front of the Basket. Blue splints and trim don't seem to have faded. Use zoom feature on all photos.The Casserole Basket has unique crisscross stationary wooden handles with a solid board bottom for added strength. The pottery Covered Casserole is a nice fit for the basket as shown in photos.American Eagle Casserole Lid has an embossed eagle crest and stars, while the Base features embossed crest (that matches the Tie-On) and stars. The rich blue color was formulated specially for Longaberger. An excited friend wanted to show off her American Eagle Casserole when it was new in 2002. She was assigned to bring potato salad to a gathering, which was a pretty yellow color in the blue Casserole but not what you expected to find there. To make it more interesting, she loaded the Casserole dish heavily with potato salad and crammed on the lid. Suction built up and they had trouble getting the Lid off!
