With durable all-metal construction and their patented Magne-Matic uncoupling with delay feature, they are the brand that model modelers trust. This is the new standard pocket! Gone are the days of using Kadee #5 pockets with "screw ears", that fall apart while inserting the couplers, and have an unrealistic thin face opening. The #262 loses the "ears" in favor of a single standard 2-56 sized hole. The box and lid snap together with authority, and won't fall apart in handling (I think they'd even work for normal use without a screw... but haven't dared it!). And they feature a "buffer plate" around the coupler opening, which does a much better job of simulating a real coupler pocket. These pockets are NARROWER INSIDE than NMRA or Standard Kadee pockets! They will only work with "whisker spring" type couplers: 140-series and #150-series whiskers. A package contains TEN PAIRS of pockets.
