Description: Antique M.C. LILLY 1907 Knights Templar Sword Named & Dated Gold Wash Blade At offer is an Antique Imperial German Court or Small Sword Issued that bears a cypher of "Crown of L" which may have been for the Grand Duke of Hesse. It has a black, checkered buffalo horn hilt. The leather sheath is cracking and a good bit of the original black finish is missing. The blade is in very nice condition. The top fitting can be slipped off the leather with little effort. I am unable to read the makers name but the reverse side of the blade has "Darmstadt" engraved on it.Please look closely at all the photos as they are an important part of the description and you are PURCHASING WHAT IS PICTURED.
