Description: HIGH NECK 1910 FANCY TEA DAY DRESS Presenting a Edwardian snow white light weight lawn cotton tea gown summer dress with high lace collar, dating to the early 1900's to 1910. One piece in construction. This dress is for a tall woman. Long full sleeves with double row of V shaped valenciennes lace and open schiffli lace cuffs. Over all lovely machine lace, vertical pintucks on front bodice/waist, skirt, and front under neckline. The bodice back has an extensive hook/eye closure. Bodice and skirt have no lining. Bottom of skirt has lace inserts and pintucks. A lovely addition to one's collection. Would make a wonderful romantic wedding dress. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS Bust 29" Waist 24" Sleeve length 16" Neck 13" Across back of shoulders 13" Front length from shoulder to hem 58" Bodice to waist 14". ERA: 1900's to 1910. MATERIAL TYPE: Fine Lawn with cotton eyelet lace and valenciennes lace trim inserts. CONDITION: In very good antique condition. There is NO understain discolorations. Many seam openings at lace insertions and holes in valenciennes lace. Some loose and some missing hooks and eye closures. Sturdy and strong and wearable.
