(Not the typical aqua blue color more commonly seen in the Mason's Patent 1858 jars). Jar is embossed on front:HERO CROSS (on top front) MASON'S (arched)PATENTNOV 30TH (TH is underlined)1858Bottom is embossed: PAT NOV 26 67 with 258 in the center.Back is not embossed.Quart jar measures approx. 7 1/2" Tall with lid. Lid is zinc Ball embossed. Will pack and ship with care. Pre-owned, antique vintage condition as shown in photos. Top is ground lip. No cracks. A few flea bites on inside of ground lip. (See photos). Lots of bubbles. Light scuffs on bottom from age and use. Embossing is bold and readable. Please see photos of actual jar to judge condition for yourselves. We always offer returns!
