Description: A superb Quimper coffee set, complete with a coffee pot with lid, creamer and sugar bowl with lid. It dates to the mid 20th century. The classic design features a Breton couple in a French landscape, flanked by pink and yellow flowers. She appears to hold a Quimper pitcher! The same floral motif appears on the other pieces and on both lids. A Breton man playing the bag pipes appears on the sugar bowl and a Breton woman holding a basket appears on the creamer. Each piece is signed by the artisan on the underside. The condition of the set is excellent. We do not find breaks, cracks or crazing and have provided detailed photographs for careful examination.
