Description: Hand-dyed Wensleydale locks 1.20 oz. Lovely shades of reds and purples! Lovely wool, may have some vegetable matter. 5 to 7 inch staple. Please see photos- colors may vary from screen to screen. There are three 1.20 oz batches available. You will receive one of the pictured batch of locks. They are all the same weight and come from the same dye batch, though there may be minor variations between them. Locks purchased as a raw wool fleece. Pulled, scoured, and dyed by me. Dyed by me in crock pots! I rinse to clear, but there may still be residual dye. Keep this in mind when you give your yarn a bath. Colors are approximate as they may appear different on different monitors and screens. I do my best to describe the colors. I am not a professional dyer. I am a hobbyist. Earlier this year, my mom passed away. I am working through my grief with wool. I have so much dyed, I am selling off a lot of it. Remember my amazing mom as you’re spinning this lovely wool.
