Description: This thing sounds like a Grand Piano! Very high quality 1997 Goodall Rosewood Standard Cutaway. Relatively rare cutaway. Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides with Koa binding. Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Balanced powerful tone, very touch responsive. Works well with flat pick or finger picking techniques. Neck width 1.77" at the nut. Very good condition overall, but not a museum piece. Top has lacquer checking the same as do most Goodalls of the period, which simply show that it has been actively played over the years. Has two small dings, see pic 10 for details. In pic 1, there is an odd effect of light rippling. It is just the photo. Spruce top is shiny and difficult to photograph. Fingerboard and frets in very good condition. Neck angle and saddle very good. Excellent guitar for both a working musician or playing on the couch with a glass of bourbon or other refreshment nearby. Original hard case included. All sales final, so ask all questions before you buy. Original Goodall product made in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. US sale only. No International sales or shipping. This will be somebody's lifetime guitar! I have played with a lot of fine musicians such as John Sebastian and Lightnin’ Hopkins. I just turned 80 and have previously sold my guitars - except this one, the best of them all. This is a real bargain. Check out the pic showing the prices of a few of the Goodalls for sale on another site.
