Parnelli Jones was one of the best all around drivers of his Era. He won many types of races in sports cars, Indy Cars, Midget Cars, off road Vehicles and stock cars. This is a display set of the Famous Dirt Cars that he drove. An Offy Midget in the early part of his career, A Sprint car he won the USAC Championship in 1961 -1962, and a Champ Car that he ran 59 races over 8 years. He was a force to be reckoned with on the Dirt or Pavement. He won Indy Indy 500 in 1963 and every one remembers his near Victory, 3 laps short , when the Famous STP Turbine failed to finish. Jones retired with 6 Indy car wins and 12 poles,4Nascar Wins in 34 starts,25 Midget Feature wins, 25 Sprint Car Wins, 7 Trans Am wins and Championship in 1970.
