Description: On offer today is a wonderful early 19th century Georgian Regency set of 4 Silver Fiddle Pattern Dinner Forks. Assayed in London. All are dated 1814-year letter T. Hallmarks are excellent bar makers' mark which is rubbed. Highly unusual being stamped to the front-i have never seen this before. The length is 8 inches. It weighs a hefty 262 grams (8.42 troy ounces) and each piece is made of very thick gauge Silver throughout. Comes in very good order. Stem is thick and strong. Tines have minimal wear commensurate with age and use. A really useful set of silver. This pattern is sought after. A rare and special set. Engraved to the reverse with contemporary initials.
