Description: French Vintage Foie Gras Provence Yellow Container Terrine. Used to make Foie Gras. Two Lion Heads and a Flower motif on lid handle. There are no Cracks or Chips. Please note the lid is a darker yellow than the bottom piece. A common variation in the glaze.2 3/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wideI purchased this in in the 80's at 26th street flea market in NYC for a photo shoot. It is a lovely piece in great condition with no chips or cracks. Only natural variations in the clay and glaze as seen in the photos. The marking on the bottom is a bit blurry and happened during the glazing. Embossed on the bottom reads 15CT, very difficult to photograph. Let me know if you want to see more photos.
