FLASK: Vanda roeblingiana UNCOMMON, INTERMEDIATE to COOL, EASY orchid species

Description: Up for Sale: The flask you are bidding on is shown in the images with the tape measure and is the flask you will received. It is growing in a 16 oz plastic container. The first image is of one of the parents and the other images are the other parent. They have both been reliable bloomers and trouble free growers and were imported plants from the Philippines. (3747) Contents: Approximately 25 seedlings that are ready to come out of flask. The Species: This species is from Malaysia and the Philippine Islands. Both parents of this cross are from the Philippines. It grows at elevations around 5000 feet in shadier conditions than most vandas. Culture: It is an intermediate to cool grower. I fertilize them with 1/4 strength fertilizer most of the year and a bit lower strength in winter. Reduce the watering in the winter, but don't give it a hard dry rest. About this flask: I take great pride in producing flasks with strong seedlings that are ready to come out of flask and have a very good survival rate. The survival of these seedlings is dependent on the conditions where they will be growing and the skill of the grower. I will shake off most of the medium, treat them with beneficial microbes and fungicide and put them in a zip bag. If your prefer to have them shipped in flask you must let me know that. Whether they are in flask or bagged, you should be prepared to pot them up shortly after receiving.Shipping & Handling Charge: It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the weather in the delivery area and let me know if special precautions are necessary.Packing and shipping for the first plant or flask is US $13.95; additional plants or flasks in the same shipment are only $1.50 each.
