Description: Pictured is an early brown Albany slip glazed cheese strainer offered for sale. The strainer is perforated with hundreds of half inch diameter holes around the body & its base. It's quite sturdy having a broad, thick looped handle. It's essentially one gallon in size measuring 13 5/8" in overall height, 7 1/2" in base diameter, & dating from 1880 - 1915. The cheese strainer is in excellent, immaculate condition with no nicks, damage or repairs whatsoever.
