Description: This is a brand new Epson Pro Cinema 6050UB professional line home theater projector. This is Epson's flagship professional line home theater projector. Epson builds the 6050UB using the 5050UB design, but with better components. Epson sets aside the highest binned (rated) components and optics they manufacture for the 5050UB. Those parts are then used to build the 6050UB. The resulting projector has higher tolerances and more perfect optics, allowing Epson to give the 6050UB a higher contrast ratio, better performance, and faster processing. Only those electronic components and optics that Epson deems to be flawless/perfect are set aside for use in the 6050UB. I have personally owned both the 5050UB and the 6050UB and the difference is very dramatic. The 6050UB is everything that makes the 5050UB great, but taken a step further and with a better picture, faster processing, truer colors, blacker blacks, brighter brights, and more precise performance. NOTE: This is the last projector that Epson will make that has 3D support. All future models have dropped 3D. 3D looks incredible on the 6050UB because it uses pixel shifting and the proprietary Epson video processing engine to upscale 3D movies to 4K. That means that your 3D movies will look better on this projector than you have ever seen them look. It's a shame that Epson no longer builds 3D support into their projectors.
