Description: An English sterling silver and glass sardine box with pull off beveled glass lid. The lid has a silver finial and fits on a ledge at the top of the box. All of the original silver bolts are present on the base and the finial. There is a Greek key engraved pattern on the base as well as an engraved crest on the base. The maker is Barker Bros. dated Birmingham 1875. Length 6 1/2" by 5 1/2"; height 3" without the finial. The box is in good antique condition with some unevenness on the base (see picture.)Payment to be received within three days after the close of the auction. We ship to the US only.
