Description: Very nice copy of the original 1977 pressing of ELO’s masterpiece, Out of the Blue, on Jet double-LP JTLA-823-L2. Both discs are very nice and play just about flawlessly and absolutely beautifully. The only issue, and it is a tiny one, is a couple of very light ticks on side two just as the song Jungle is fading in, only maybe ticking twice, and just as the song is barely coming in. A very minor thing. The rest of all four sides plays perfectly without so much as the tiniest crackle at all. Beautiful. There are some visible surface scuffs on the first disc but they really don’t make any sound at all, except this one tick I mentioned. The second disc has only a tiny bit of light sleeve scuffing but barely at all. More like EX. And again, not a single tiny tick or even light crackle at all. This is just a gorgeous playing copy. Absolutely lovely. The cover has light ringwear and some corner rubbing, mainly at the two lower corners. Also some edge whitening in spots, and general signs of light use, but overall quite nicely intact. There is a strip of tape residue along the bottom edge inside the gatefold but it is quite light. Probably it could be removed if you like with lighter fluid and a little patience. Really it is a pretty nice cover. Both lyric inner sleeves are included, and in excellent condition, and the rare poster is also included. A beautiful original copy that sounds wonderful.
