Description: This is the legendary E-MU 1820M audio interface system with the higher end AKM ad/da (M version). This is practically a complete system, includes E-MU 1820M dock, EM-U EM8810 PCI card, E-MU Software / Drivers and Sample packs. Only the software disc has been open the rest of the discs are unused in sealed cd-sleeves. This is as complete of a package as you can find, rare to come across. This system ran on windows 7, amazingly. I believe the last official drivers were win 7. I've read multiple forums of users successfully using this with win 10, however, I never tried it myself on win10/11. So I recommend a win 7 pc, unless you're willing to experiment.The EM8810 pci card has a power input port which you must power from computer PSU in order to power dock. Read manual. The 24-bit 192khz, AKM AD/DA converters really do sound awesome, same as the Digidesign / Avid HD192. It is such a flexible system with 18in / 20out and multiple connection types (XLR Mic, TRS Line, Adat, Spdif, SMPTE etc). The two mic preamps sound great on any source. They are designed by Ted Fletcher (TFPro, JoeMeek).
