Description: Mahogany double pedestal table with one leaf and 6 shield back chairs. Pedestals have brass feet. Unknown manufacture date, but best guess is 1950s. Table comfortably seats 6 chairs, but can accommodate 8 chairs with leaf installed. Set is sold with table (one leaf) and 6 matching chairs (one armed captain's chair and five side chairs). Two additional shield back chairs are available for purchase in a separate listing (they coordinate well with this set, but are not an exact match -- see photo). Set is in good used condition, but has signs of wear commensurate with age. Chairs and table are all sturdy, but some surface scratches which could easily be touched up. There is one faint blemish in the leaf finish which is perhaps a water mark. Set was purchased used. Dimensions: 36" wide x 56" long. One 12" leaf brings length to 68". Table height 29".
