For sale is one new-old-stock pen from my personal pen collection: Duke’s Limited Edition Dragon’s Offspring #1230 of 2000 Fountain Pen with a “7” 18K Gold Nib. FOUNTAIN PEN is NEW, MINT, NEVER DIPPED or INKED! ORIGINAL CONDITION! About the Pen: Manufactured by Duke, a Chinese company, circa 2000. Duke had an R&D branch registered in Germany. The fountain pen is a limited edition, numbered 1230 (marked on the end of the barrel) of 2000 produced. It is made of a veined Italian marbled resin with a heavy 22K gold plated filigree overlay. The fountain pen is heavy and luxurious, measuring 5 5/8” capped. The gold filigree overlay depicts a dragon and Chinese characters which say “Dragon’s Offspring” and describe the dragon’s characteristics. The nib is marked “7” and I am unable to discern what a “7” Duke nib means (i.e. Medium, Fine, Broad, etc.). The condition of the fountain pen is NEW, MINT, UNUSED, however, I do NOT have the packaging for the fountain pen or paperwork. I purchased it new from a pen collector at the Los Angeles Pen Show many years ago who had lost the packaging. From a Smoke and Pet Free Home!
