Having your collection standing upright allows for a more dramatic detailed view of your bayonet collection. Mounted on a plaque base made of Knotty Pine the bayonet, and now the scabbard too, is suspended in the upright position by a Stud Guide Assembly which recreates the same dimensions as the original Lug Assembly. The stand is made of plastic filament on a 3D printer and is supported by a wooden dowel.You can display your bayonet as a stand alone if you don't have a scabbard! This option displays your bayonet on the stand, on a 5" x 7" x 3/4" oval stand.If you want to also display your Scabbard you can choose the "Bayonet with Scabbard" Option. This option displays on a larger 7" x 9" x 3/4" oval stand.Both of these are available in 2 different finishes. A formal Black with wood Trim finish or a "Rustic" Old World Classic custom stained finish. Both finisheshave 2 stain applications followed by 2-3 Polyurathane finishes for a bright gloss finish. Every stand also includes the following: Ø Four felt feet to help protect furnitureØ One Base, a wooden dowell, 3D printed stand*, Two 3m x10mm oxide wood screws for the stand.
