Description: A very good copy of a counterculture gem: the Canadian Whole Earth Almanac. Modeled on the Portola Institute's Whole Earth Catalogue. This is from Winter 1970 and focuses on shelter, from yurts, to long cabins, to geodesic domes. Other topics are thrown in as well as an occasional poem or quote. Like I said, a gem. Condition is surprisingly good. One barely noticeable vertical crease in the front cover. Clean interior with a still sound binding. No previous owners' names. Not ex-library. The pages are of course age toned, as is usual for any old newsprint publication. Size is approximately 7 by 10 1/2 inches. Unpaginated. Feel free ask any questions you may have; I'd be happy to answer. Shipping is $4.75 via USPS Media Mail. Canadian buyers are welcome, but I ONLY ship to US addresses. You need to go through eBay International Shipping if you're interested, and you are responsible for any import dues or taxes on the book. Sorry, but international purchases are NOT returnable. Well wrapped, securely boxed. I value the things I sell. If you have a moment, you might want to take a look at my other interesting to rare items up for sale this week. Thank you.
