As expected, cookbooks get stained by food, ingredients, and some of the pages get torn. Some are printed on glossy paper, some not. There are minor smears and tears on a few pages. The graphics and photographs all have retained their vivid color. All pages are clear and legible. I'm unable to photograph every single stain and tear.
