Description: Here's a beautiful complete ticket from the first running of the Santa Anita Handicap on February 23, 1935 and won by Azucar (and later famously by Seabiscuit). I'm not sure if this is a prototype/proof or just was an extra that was not used, because the box and seat number are blank. So I don't believe that this was actually used that day because it is complete with the stub and is in perfect condition. It has some beautiful color and detail. It measures about 5.25" across and the lettering is actually embossed on the ticket. Please review the photos and use the magnify feature to review the condition.
