Description: A large (10 1/4 in), very well crafted Chinese blue and white Porcelain bowl with good artistry. The exterior of the bowl has been decorated with dragons slithering among floral branches. The interior features a band of floral branches along the rim, and a very pretty Kangxi-style garden scene of a bird perched above a lotus, and bamboo in the well. The medium weight bowl is hand potted. It has a raised foot with an unglazed rim. The foot shows nice white clay. The glaze has a slight bluish tint. The base has a four-character Kangxi mark within a double circle. MEASUREMENTS 10 1/4"" (26 cm) diameter x 3 3/4"" (9.5 cm) deep. Weighs 1 lb 15.6 oz (895 g) CONDITION There is a tight hairline from the rim. There are no other breaks, chips, cracks, or repairs. There are kiln flaws, such as bumps, black spots, and reserves. There are also a few small spots of discoloration near the rim. The bowl is very artistically drawn. I love the dragons on the outside and especially the interior scene with the bird.
