Description: Charles Bukowski. Scarlet: Aren't You Going to Kiss Me Goodbye?. Los Angeles. Baroque Books? No date. Guessing 1980s-1990s. 5 color photocopied sheets: 1brown, 4 white. (4to) spiral-bound semi-stiff boards. The frontispiece drawing on the brown sheet and the cover signature are facsimiles from one of the letters. A collection of photocopies of Bukowski letters and drawings to his girlfriend Pamela Brandesa.k.a. Pamela Miller, "Cupcakes," "Scarlet". Plus a poem "Like A Flower In The Rain" from Love Is A Dog From Hell which was released in 1991. Reportedly put togetherby Red Stodolsky at Baroque Books as a sample of a larger collection he hoped to sell. Unknown as to how many were produced. I found a little info in the bukowskiforom from around 20 years ago. Looks like the same copy. And back then they were also trying to figure out exactly the history. But it does seem that it was produced by Red Stodolsky at some point in an effort to get a book deal. Super Cool Bukowski Rarity Condition: Very Good Minus. Light handling wear and edge wear. Some light wear and staining to covers as seen in photos. Top edge near spine has a small tear and repair it looks like. Pressure handling creasing. First brown colored page has been crumpled of creased maybe for looks? Overall it's seen a little wear but I absolutely love it. Such an interesting artsy look and feel to it. Please see photos for complete condition. Check out my page for Poetry, Literature, Art and M
