Description: Carl Schumann Dresden Floral & Gold Reticulated Small Bon Bon Dish C. 1923-1944 Pretty reticulated square porcelain bon bon dish. Decorated in the Dresden style with pink, purple, blue, orange and yellow flowers in the center framed by gold gilt scrollwork designs. The reticulated edge has gold gilt highlights, gold flowers, and small flowers in the corners in pink, blue, purple and orange. Marked on the bottom Bavaria in blue and Schumann in blue.Based on similar marks, this was probably made between 1932 and 1944. This has a lot of wear to the gilding, but is in otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide x 1 1/4 inches tall. This is vintage and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. CS GX
