Description: RARE, RARE, RARE Color! "Pomona Green" was Cambridge's official name for this color, but many collectors used to call it "Avocado". This gorgeous goblet or sherbet or ?? dish sports the Imperial Hunt Scene encrusted in gold. The glass itself is opaque and delicate. This tall goblet is about 4" tall and will hold 12 ounces of liquid, to the brim. I wasn't able to see what Cambridge called this blank, this exact style of goblet or much of anything. Sorry. YOU are the experts. If you're unsure and it's important, please do your own research. The design elements are a wonderful mesh -- inside the glass it's panelled/rayed, but the outside is smooth and etched with the scene in gold. Then you have a ridges outside/rings around toward the lower area. This was made from about 1927 - 1929. I have another Pomona green stem for sale - check out my other auctions! I will gladly combine shipping. CONDITION, AGAIN: Three rim chips and one little fleabite (see photos where they are pointed out). There is some wear to gold trim paint. The glass has a slight "slag" type mixture so there are slight color streaks/tones here and there. There are also some "straw marks" or "stretch/heat lines". There are plenty of photos so you can see every side/angle. Please review on a computer screen, not a little cell phone. Oftentimes at glass shows there are businesses set up to repair your chipped glassware. Or, there are some you can google and find to ship items to. Since the only problem with this stem is the top rim, it can probably be repaired. It might be worth inquiring about since this is a hard to find piece. I usually ship within one day of receiving payment. Please pay within 2 days. 6643
