Description: Vintage Burny RLC-65 ('1957' type) Les Paul "Black Beauty" electric guitar. Made in Japan in the mid 80s ("lawsuit" era). Has a Gibson-accurate open book headstock, bound fret end "nibs", and real mother of pearl inlays on the headstock and ebonized fingerboard. An extraordinarily well built guitar on par with Gibson. Weight: 9.6 pounds. Has 3 original VH-3 pickups, an added lightly-aged gold B7 Bigsby tremolo arm, and upgraded 'Bumblebee' capacitors (.015 on the rhythm pickup, .022 on the treble). Other than the capacitors, this guitar has all its original wiring. Has a fair amount of surface wear on the body (partly why I bought it) and shows its age in beautiful ways. Great neck, frets and fretboard, takes adjustments perfectly, functions properly in all respects, and sounds absolutely amazing. Comes with an alligator skin hardshell case. *Potential international buyers: please use the Global Shipping Program only (or the latest iteration of it) - do not request an invoice (it may automatically disrupt the Global Shipping Program's processes). Message me if needed, please. **Disclaimer: I will try my best to answer any questions you might have, but all sales are final. Thanks for looking!
