BUFFET E11 Bb CLARINET - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL - READ! FOR RESTORATION, NEEDS PADS

Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This listing is for a Buffet Crampon E11 Bb soprano clarinet. This is an excellent quality intermediate level instrument that is made of grenadilla wood. The serial number is 1206922 (matching on both main joints). Please note that the painted-on Buffet logos are worn off, which is very common for this era of Buffet E11 clarinets. It is easily identified as an E11 by its "MADE IN GERMANY" stamp, serial number, features, and case.This instrument is being sold as is for repair/restoration. It is not currently in playing condition due to degraded pads and a shredded tenon cork. It is in overall very good physical condition but requires a full re-pad. Please read on for additional details about its condition. This instrument is in overall very good condition. There is one superficial hairline crack on the bell that is visible on the exterior and the interior of the tenon, but does not go all the way through to the inner bore. I don't see any other cracks, or past crack repairs to the wood. There are no chips to the tenons or tone holes. There are scratches/scuffs to the wood from normal use. The bell flare ring is a little loose, but it should snug up once the wood has been oiled. The tenon rings are all tight. All of the keys are moving freely and rebounding properly when released. The nickel finish shows no visible wear, and it is still pretty shiny. As mentioned above, it will need all new pads, and of course a good cleaning/oiling of the wood.This instrument comes in its original Buffet case. The case is in solid condition, with normal wear and tear. The exterior covering is peeling a bit on one side but could easily be re-glued. The interior shows minimal wear and tear, and it is clean and odor free. There is no mouthpiece, nor any other accessories included. Please feel free to message me with any questions.
