The first illustrated magazine for beekeepers in Serbia was published in 1883 in Belgrade under Bee. Then Serbian Beekeeper was printed on October 1, 1896, in Sremski Karlovci. Since 1899, it has continued to be published by the Serbian Beekeeping Association in Ruma. The Beekeeper, the organ of the Serbian Bee Society, has been published since January 1, 1898, in Belgrade.
