Description: Unique logo- haven't seen a 1979 World Series logo before. Must have had the logo put on much later, because the plain helmet is from the 60s or 70s. There are some odd markings on the white bill and left white areas. See pictures for detail Made some time in the late 1960s or early 1970s, this is a vintage souvenir helmet with an adjustable strap on the interior. I believe it is one size fits all with the adjustable strap. The total length from bill to back is about 11" and width is about 7". There is some printed text on the strap that says 1969 Sports Prod. Corp. A Sub of Laich Industries. Obviously this is not a protective helmet meant to be worn for an actual game, rather a decorative/commemorative souvenir.
