Art Deco Enameled & Colorful Celluloid Scarab Beetle Necklace & Dangle Earrings

Description: This auction is for an original, art deco, Egyptian revival flying scarab beetle necklace and earrings. This is a rare set in great vintage condition with some enamel loss, as would be expected. The set could probably use a good cleaning, but I will leave that to the new owner. The backing on each piece is multicolored celluloid that almost looks like melted crayons. The body is a copper colored metal with enameling. The necklace chain has delicate links with long narrow black beads. The earrings measure 3" in length with a stone or celluloid bead in the top with a faux jade bead heading the chains that hold the dangling scarab. The earrings are screw back. Stunning set!
